FAQ
Here are the answers to some of the most Frequently Asked Questions our firm receives.

Q. Do I need an appointment to have my taxes prepared
A. Yes, it is best to make an appointment. An appointment will help us service you more effeciently.

Q. What do I do about back year returns not filed?
A. If you have back year returns that have not been filed, you should complete the returns as soon as possible and file them. It is better to voluntarily file returns than to wait for the IRS to come after you for failure to file.

Q. Can I correct a return I've already file?
A. Yes, you may amend a return for three years from the filing date or two years from the time the tax was paid, which ever is later. If you have a refund coming, you must file the original return within three years of the due date or the refund may be lost.

Q. How do I check the status of my refund
A. The best way is to use the Check Your Refund link from the Resources pages of our website! To look up the status of your federal or state refund, you will need your social security number, filing status, and exact amount you’re expecting back. Alternatively, you can go directly to the IRS website: http://www.irs.gov/ and search for Where is my refund. You may also look up your stimulus refund.
